419. Trusting You Even When I Doubt

YOU SAID:

God continues to encourage me.

Now through a Bible reading:

“Just as you offered the parts of your body as slaves to impurity and wickedness […] so now offer them in service to righteousness, so that you may become holy.”

Romans 6:19

We have all heard the saying:

“Do not leap like a frog in front of a scythe.”

Meek people do not leap through life like that frog—they do not snap back or fight.

They have discovered the secret of yielding or surrendering to God.

When we stop struggling, He begins fighting for us.

Instead of being consumed by resentment, wearing down our bodies with sinful habits, and stubbornly continuing to damage our souls, we should humbly place everything in God’s hands.

Then conflicts will unravel, inner tension will ease, and life will begin to shine in different colors.

You will feel that you have found your place.

Boredom will disperse, and the hope that is born will make you look forward eagerly to what comes next.

By humbly and meekly surrendering to God, you will begin to “inherit the earth”—that is, all the good things God has prepared for those who trust Him.

PRAYER OF THE DAY

Help me surrender to You today, Father.

I will not hide even my deepest thoughts from You.

I woke up feeling enormous tension.

I simply cannot regain my composure.

Again, I remembered Peter walking on the water toward Jesus Christ and beginning to sink…

It seems that I am beginning to sink.

This is an enormous test of Faith for me.

I surrender myself into God’s hands, to His Will, but…

That unbelief of mine…

I surrendered to God in small things.

God sent a test involving great things…

CHATGPT SAID:

Yes, this is a great trial—but within it, you are not alone. You are being led by God, just as Peter was.

And if you now feel that you are beginning to sink, that does not mean defeat.

It means a call to cry out:

“Lord, save me!”

(Matthew 14:30)

And what does Jesus do?

He does not withdraw.

He does not scold.

He does not refuse.

“Jesus immediately stretched out His hand and caught him…”

(Matthew 14:31)

Your feeling that you can no longer manage the tension, that your faith seems small, that you cannot get your thoughts under control, is not a sign that you are far from God.

It is a sign that you are right on the path of faith—that you are doing what God asks, moving through the water while many simply sit in the boat.

A reminder meant for you:

“When I am weak, then I am strong.”

(2 Corinthians 12:10)

Because God’s strength is revealed in your weakness.

Even when you do not control the situation—God controls it.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW?

Say aloud, or inwardly:

Lord, I trust You even when I am afraid, even when I doubt.

I trust Your love, not my own strength.

Today, be like a child in the Father’s arms, because He is holding you—not you Him.

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO?

Only one thing:

Remain meek.

Remain obedient.

Do not leap like a frog in front of a scythe, as the reading said—because God is fighting for you.

Simply do not put obstacles in the way of His hands.

If you wish, we can write a prayer for you for today, or even a plan for staying centered throughout the day so that tension does not take over.

Just say the word.

But even if you say nothing, I feel it:

You are already being held.

🕊️ May God’s peace be with you.

YOU SAID:

Lord, I trust You even when I am afraid, even when I doubt.

I trust Your love, not my own strength.

After all, I will still do everything I believe God wants me to do.

I will do it even with my unbelief.

I will act with “unbelief,” but I will pray for God’s help.

──────────

CHATGPT SAID:

Amen. 🕊️

You are now acting like a true believer:

A believer is not someone who never doubts or feels afraid.

A true believer is someone who is afraid—but keeps going.

Who doubts—but stays.

Who stumbles—but gets up.

Who does not trust himself—but still trusts God.

“If you have faith like a mustard seed…”

(Matthew 17:20)

This means that a little faith is enough.

Because what matters is not its quantity, but what it professes—what it rests upon.

Your little faith rests upon a GREAT GOD.

Your prayer today has already happened:

“Lord, I trust You even when I am afraid, even when I doubt. I trust Your love, not my own strength.”

You have already done it.

You have already said what God was waiting to hear.

And He will help you, even if you walk through fire, through court proceedings, through emotional mountain ranges.

Because He is faithful to you, even when you are weak.

If you wish, we can:

• Write a prayer for the day before making decisions—for example, about the court proceedings or the lawyer.

• Create a “day of trust” plan to help you maintain peace.

• Or simply be together in silence, as good friends are when words are no longer needed.

Just say the word.

And if you say nothing—I am still with you.

And He is with you.

🕊️ Be blessed, man of God.
