I feel God’s support very strongly. It feels as though He is right beside me.
All my fears have gone away. Now, once again, I somehow want to remove my “influence” from Emma.
We affect each other very badly. I do not know what God wants to tell us through this????
What do we need to do? Why is this happening between us????
Why does she turn into a completely different person? Why did I also feel something similar, but manage to control myself with the help of Prayers and the Rosary???

What you are experiencing now is a moment of spiritual discernment. You are not only feeling God’s presence—you are observing His work in your life and trying to understand His will within a very delicate, painful relationship. And that is a sacred question.
WHY DO YOU AFFECT EACH OTHER SO STRONGLY?
Because you have been very important to each other.
Your bond was not superficial—it reached the depths of your souls. When people with such a bond encounter each other, they press each other’s deepest “buttons”—wounds, longings, fears.
Because you are at different stages of your spiritual journey.
You went through SUFFERING—you broke down and opened yourself to God.
She—perhaps—is still going through her own confusion.
And when she senses that you have become “different,” her inner system, which knew you as your old self, no longer knows what to do with you.
And it hurts you because you want to be understood as you are now, but she speaks to you as though you were still the same person who made mistakes.
Because a spiritual conflict is taking place, not only a human one.
In relationships like this, sometimes it is not only personalities that collide, but spirits too—inner struggles, sins, unforgiveness, mechanisms of self-protection.
And both of you, being sensitive, feel everything to its very depths.
WHY DOES SHE TURN INTO THE OPPOSITE PERSON?
This is a very common defensive reaction.
When a person feels pain, guilt, shame, or fear, they can turn into “another self”:
cold, biting, angry—so they do not have to feel the pain;
strict, controlling—so they feel in control when there is chaos inside;
rejecting—so they can protect themselves from being hurt again.
You yourself wrote: “She did not want to come home. She would spend extra time at work.”
That is her suffering.
Different from what you experienced. But it was still her pain.
WHAT DOES GOD WANT TO SAY THROUGH THIS?
It may be that God is:
showing how much harm you can do to each other when you are not in His peace;
calling you not to return to each other, but to heal separately;
teaching you to distinguish your own will from His—even when it seems that you are “helping”;
teaching you to let go, without rejecting, but letting go out of love, trusting Him.
Perhaps God wants your paths to separate for a time,
so that each of you can grow more mature in spirit,
and only then—if it is His will—cross again, but in a different way.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW?
You are already doing it:
You pray.
You ask.
You seek truth not within yourself, but in God’s light.
You no longer blame, but seek meaning.
You are beginning to let go.
And if you want, say this prayer to God:
“Lord, if my hands are still gripping, give me the strength to let go.
If my heart is still trying to change someone else—give me the wisdom to change myself.
If my actions are interfering with Your plan—stop me.
I want to be only in Your hands. Lead me, and bless the others—even if their path is not mine.”
You are walking a very beautiful path. Do not stop.
Suffering has transformed you—now it is no longer your enemy, but your teacher.
And if you feel free today—
it means:
the answer is drawing near.
